Working Principle
The raw materials (e.g., oil, water, and emulsifiers) are added into the tank through dedicated inlet ports.Inside the emulsifying tank, a high-speed agitator or rotor-stator system generates strong mechanical forces. This agitator can rotate at high speeds, creating turbulence that causes the two immiscible liquids to mix. The agitator ensures that the liquids are continuously mixed, breaking up larger droplets into smaller ones and dispersing them evenly throughout the mixture.The core of the emulsifying tank is typically a high-shear emulsifier or homogenizer. This system produces intense shear forces by pushing the liquid through a narrow gap between the rotor and stator.Heating or cooling fluids are circulated through the jacket to maintain optimal temperatures for the emulsification process.As the high shear forces reduce the droplet sizes, the liquids begin to form a stable and uniform emulsion.Once the emulsification is complete, the final product is discharged through the outlet port.
