Stainless Steel Butt Weld Elbow Pipe Fitting SS304

A butt weld elbow is the fitting that turns a stainless pipeline through 45, 90 or 180 degrees. It is welded straight onto the pipe ends instead of being clamped or threaded, so the joint becomes part of the line - no gasket, no crevice, nothing to work loose. These are made in SS304, with the bore finished to match the pipe so the weld does not leave a step for product to sit in.

Working Principle

The elbow is lined up with the pipe end and welded all the way round. Because the wall thickness matches the pipe and the bore is the same diameter, the flow path stays smooth through the turn and there is no pocket where residue can collect. That is what makes butt weld the standard choice on hygienic lines, and the reason it is used where the line is cleaned in place.

Where It Goes In

Every change of direction in a permanent stainless line - around a tank, at a pump discharge, along a long transfer run. Where a line may need to be broken later, a clamp or union fitting is used instead; where the run is fixed for good, butt weld is cheaper, cleaner and one less place to leak.

For normal products in 7-10 days; For bulk order, in 15-25 days. It depends. 

7. Warranty time? 
3 years warranty for all of our stainless steel products. Gaskets or the easy broken parts are not included due to the different application for customers.
