Introduction
The tank bottom valve is made of 304/316L stainless steel and features a sanitary, quick-installation structure, suitable for clean environments such as biopharmaceuticals and food and beverage processing. It is used for bottom discharge and aseptic sampling, ensuring zero material residue and production safety.
Working Principle
Tank bottom valves are specialized valves installed at the bottom of storage tanks and reactors. Their core components, such as the ball valve, valve seat, or diaphragm, are displaced or rotated by a pneumatic, manual, or electric drive device. This changes the relative position of the valve core and valve seat to achieve channel opening and closing and flow regulation. When open, they create a media flow path for seamless discharge; when closed, they rely on sealing elements to achieve zero leakage. Different structures (top-mounted, bottom-mounted, ball valves, diaphragm valves, etc.) of tank bottom valves are suitable for the media and operating conditions of different industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals.

Complete emptying with minimal residue: The valve body is installed flush against the bottom of the storage tank or reactor, and its straight-through flow channel design allows for complete emptying using gravity, significantly reducing material residue. This is particularly suitable for applications with high requirements for material recovery and cleanliness, such as food, pharmaceutical, and fine chemical industries.
Excellent sealing performance with zero leakage guarantee: Utilizing corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant seals such as PTFE and EPDM, combined with a precise fit between the valve core and seat, zero leakage is achieved when closed. This prevents the risk of leakage of flammable, explosive, or corrosive media, and also avoids contamination of the tank contents by external impurities.
